A Dawdle through the Yorkshire Dales - April 2005

Charles Oldroyd and Robert Meekins organised a meander through the Yorkshire Dales of Northern England in April. Normally a time when the weather can be relied on to be at least reasonable but hey, there is snow melting from one of the cars in one picture taken on Cam Fell.
A good time was had by all!. We were blessed by good weather for most of the day, but as we crossed over the "tops" from Wharfedale into Wensleydale after lunch, a sharp shower turned to sleet and hail! Needless to say, I had the top down at the time and the female partner of a guest (Samina) who had chosen to ride with me. I gave in finally and put the top up. (Charles)
