The Ted Thorogood award was presented once again by his widow, Betty Thorogood, who attended the show specially for the prize giving. Her husband’s 1947 saloon is currently the subject of a restoration project being undertaken by Historic Volkswagen Club Chairman, Charles Oldroyd who is visiting the factory archives in June to research the car and its specification.
Finally, our thanks to Status VW Parts once again for their support in
sponsoring the show.
